Fiorentina have officially completed the signature of Davide Astori from Cagliari on loan with an obligation to buy.

The defender spent last season at Roma, but the Giallorossi opted not to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old was then in talks with Napoli, but a deal collapsed after a disagreement over image rights, and the centre-back has now joined the Viola.
