Filip Djordjevic is still haunted by the double post against Juventus and trusts Lazio can make up for it in the Super Cup.

The Bianconeri won the Coppa Italia in extra time, but Djordjevic could not have come closer to a winning goal when his shot hit one upright, rolled along the line and bounced off the opposite stick.

“We are confident, as we know what we are supposed to do,” Djordjevic told Rai Sport.

“We haven’t changed much, whereas Juve lost their three most important players. We lost our last three games against them, but this will be the perfect opportunity to make up for it.

“You never know what can happen in a Final.”

Lazio haven’t had a reassuring build-up, suffering four consecutive friendly defeats going into Saturday’s clash in Shanghai.

“It is not easy to lose three or four games before such an important appointment, but we have faith.”
