Patrice Evra warned Paul Pogba is “not a youngster anymore and has to provide the breakthrough” for Juventus.
Both are expected to start in the Italian Super Cup against Lazio today, which kicks off at 13.00 UK time (12.00 GMT) in Shanghai.
“The more experienced members of the squad cannot hide. If anything, we must show that we have the same hunger and enthusiasm as always,” Evra told Rai Sport.
“The younger players must understand that Juve want to win, always.”

While he was treated as a prodigy until now, Pogba was given the Number 10 jersey and needs to step up.
“Pogba wants to be decisive and I told him that he’s not a youngster anymore and has already been at Juve for four years. He has to provide the breakthrough during difficult games.”
Evra already knew Pogba from Manchester United and the France squad, so the 22-year-old affectionately refers to him as ‘Uncle Pat.’
