Sky Sports News reports that Shaqiri has passed his medical with the Potters, and has agreed personal terms with the club.

However, the news outlet also believes that Newcastle United and Everton still harbour hopes of hijacking the deal, despite the Swiss international attending Stoke’s defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

Furthermore, it’s thought that Bayern Munich included a number of sell-on clauses when selling Shaqiri to the Beneamata in January, which would see Inter lose a portion of the €17m fee.
