Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs says Inter ‘probably won’t meet our asking price’ for Ivan Perisic.
The Nerazzurri have been pursuing the Croatian winger all summer, with President Erick Thohir inisisting yesterday that his arrival is still a possibility.
However, in a Press conference today, the German club’s sporting director insists nothing has changed since he declared the Beneamata couldn’t afford the player.
“Nothing has changed with Perisic,” Allofs told the assembled media.
“The club wants to extend his contract. Inter? They probably won’t meet our asking price.”
Allofs words come after media speculation that Inter had raised their offer for Perisic, indicating that the Nerazzurri will have go further.
