“We have to focus only on ourselves. Roma have done well over the last two years, but always lacked something.
“We worked to improve where we were not sufficiently good, but only the results on the pitch will tell us whether we did enough.
“We want to compete for the highest objectives to the very end. Last year we were not competitive to the end and this summer we worked to rectify that.”
