The Croatian has been linked with the Nerazzurri throughout the summer, but his agent Tonci Martic said on Saturday that a deal will be completed today.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Wolfsburg are still demanding an extra €2m from Inter’s current proposal.

The paper believes that the Nerazzurri are offering an €8m loan fee with a €12m compulsory transfer fee next summer, but that the Bundesliga side want an outright transfer.

It has also been noted that the transfer could be completed without having to send Inter directors to Germany, as an intermediary has been there since Saturday in order to close the deal.
