An agreement with the player himself is believed to have already been reached, but the Russian club continue to demand €35m plus bonuses for the 26-year-old.

Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport have reported that Japan international Honda is now considered by the San Siro club as off the transfer market.

There has been speculation about interest from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, but the paper believes that Milan’s number 10 is off the market, at least for the time being.
