Roma winger Juan Iturbe has reportedly agreed in principle to join Genoa on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old arrived from Verona last summer for a fee of €22m, but failed to impress in his first season in the capital.

Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that a meeting took place today between representatives from the Giallorossi, the Grifone and the player’s agent.

Following the talks, Sky now believes that Iturbe is open to the idea of moving to Marassi on loan, with only the terms of the deal still to be confirmed.
