The sides had worked out a deal for a loan move worth €3m with option to buy for a further €8m.

However, multiple reports including Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb claim the Serbian international refused the transfer.

Ljajic would prefer to stay in Serie A and has been linked with Inter and Sampdoria.
