Bologna have presented the updated Stadio Dall’Ara, with new locker rooms and hospitality suites.

The area has been restructured to hold 28,000 seats, a reduction of 8,000, with coloured chairs giving a red and blue theme through the stands.

The locker rooms have been rebuilt with a new premium hospitality area including a bar and a 250-seat restaurant.

The Dall’Ara will host their Serie A game against Sassuolo on Saturday at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT). Click here for a match preview.

“The objective when we took over the club was firstly to get into Serie A and now that we’re here it’s to stay,” said chairman Joey Saputo.

“We also wanted to do something with the stadium to bring the people back.

“It’s too early to say we have reached the level we wanted. There was a three-year plan and at the end of that I will tell you if we are happy.

“It has been difficult on the market, because we didn’t expect the other clubs to spend as much money as they did this summer.

“The transfer window isn’t over yet, we have a few more days to build a team suited to staying in Serie A.”
