According to Sport Mediaset, Milan and Genoa already broached the topic of Perotti while settling the deal for the transfer of Juraj Kucka.

The operation could be set in motion should striker Juan Iturbe join Genoa from Roma, releasing Perotti.

Meanwhile central defender Mexes, who was being sought after by Fiorentina, has been blocked by il Diavolo's President Silvio Berlusconi, according to MilanNews.it.

The Viola have not given up however and are waiting the last moment to see if there could be a chance to swoop for the Frenchman, though the only condition that could make it happen at this stage would have to be the player himself requesting to leave.
