A top mental coach said it’s his “dream” to work with Mario Balotelli, but Milan “is not the ideal solution for him.”

“My biggest dream would be to work with Balotelli, as I’m sure I could help him with his attitude,” Giovanni Gabrielli told the Corriere dello Sport.

“My biggest dream would be to work with Balotelli, as I’m sure I could help him with his attitude,” Giovanni Gabrielli told the Corriere dello Sport.
“They shouldn’t make the mistake of treating him like a child, nor of putting too much responsibility on his shoulders. He should be accompanied on the journey of understanding his behaviour.
“I think bringing him back to Italy is positive, but when I consider Milan’s current dynamics, that club is not the ideal solution for him.
“I’d have seen him do better in a team that wasn’t so much under the spotlight, where he could work without constant attention.
“Spending an entire campaign on the bench will not help his evolution process, as a player or on a psychological level.
“Why should Balotelli choose to work with me? Firstly I am not in search of publicity, so I’d work only for him and not for myself.
“Secondly, being an athlete who has always interested me, I’ve been studying his behaviour on the field and off for the last three years, including interviews. I think I’ve realised what Mario really needs to have a mental attitude that makes him happy and further expands his capabilities.
“I think he could be transformed into a top player and it wouldn’t take years either.”
