There are a lot of expectations surrounding Juventus as they face Chievo tomorrow evening at 19:45 UK time, for what many hope will be their first win of the season.

“Marchisio will take to the pitch from the first minute,” said Allegri in today's Press conference.

“As far as Morata goes, I'll have to evaluate him, because he had a bit of flu the other day, even though he's been training well.

“Right now we mustn't think of Manchester [City], we must think only of Chievo because we need the three points.

“But since I have everyone available, I'll examine the conditions of tomorrow's players with a view to the game on Tuesday [against Manchester City].

“Hernanes started out playing in the middle, in front of the defence. Then he turned into a playmaker, a supporting midfielder and he can act as an offensive midfielder too.

“If you look at his stats you can tell he's got goals in his legs and this is important for us.

“He already had a bit of game-time with Inter, so he's available and ready to play.”

It was suggested that Juventus should start their season now, and the 48-year-old largely agreed.

“Our championship has to start now, because we still have no points.

“The two games that came before this one were different, but unfortunately the result was the same.

“It had never happened to Juventus, now it happened and we only have to be aware of the situation and respond realistically to it.

“Right now there isn't much to talk about, there is only working and doing.

“In any case there is no time for talk anymore. The transfer window is closed and there's a game every three days.

“We'll have to be focused and we'll need to pick up the right pace to face games like these.

“The fun team is the winning team, I've never seen a winning team that played bad football.

“Now I have more alternatives as my players have different characteristics, and that's good because your needs can change over the season.

“But I'd say the squad is very balanced, so now that everyone is here except for Khedira and Asamoah, we have the opportunity and the duty of playing a great season.

“We can compete on all three fronts, and by March-April we must be fighting for the Champions League, for the Coppa Italia and for the Scudetto.”
