Milan's Diego Lopez says he 'doesn't care' about Inter being favourites: 'All that matters is that we do what we know'.

The goalkeeper was interviewed by Il Corriere della Sera ahead of tomorrow's Derby della Madonnina, and he said he shared in the general excitement.

“These games are any footballer's dream, even though San Siro is prettier when it's coloured in red and black,” he joked.

“I'm not worried about the Nerazzurri being the favourites.

“I'm not worried about the Nerazzurri being the favourites.

“All I care about is what we are going to do tomorrow after 20:45 [19:45 in the UK].

“It's easier for me, I'm 33 years old and I have experience. But we must only do what we know.

“Do I regret leaving Real Madrid for Milan? My only dream is returning to the Champions League and winning the Scudetto with Milan.

“Last year was terrible and we didn't do well in these first two games, but we have a great drive to get going again, starting tomorrow night.

“I'm here to do my part and help Milan return to greatness.”
