The Friulani started the campaign with a shock victory away to Juventus, then lost 1-0 at home to Palermo.
“The Palermo game showed us there is a consistency to our performances, as we played well despite the defeat,” said the Coach in a Press conference.
“We’re only at the beginning, so right now are focused on finding an identity and getting the movements down.
“Against Lazio it is going to be a tough game, as they are a strong side with one of the best strike forces in Serie A.
“During the week we worked on the possible systems Lazio could use against us, so we’ll be ready for whatever they choose.
“We won’t change our shape, as that is our approach, it’s just important to maintain concentration for the entire 90 minutes. Our midfielders all like to push forward into space, they don’t tend to just hang around in the middle of the park.”
Duvan Zapata arrived on a two-year loan from Napoli, but has so far stuttered in attack.
“I think in recent years he only managed four full 90-minute games for Napoli. He has a big physique and that takes longer to find form at the start of a season, but he is improving and can do a lot more.”
Widmer sprained his ankle during training this week and is ruled out, while Antonio Di Natale is also not 100 per cent fit.
Udinese squad for Lazio: Karnezis, Meret, Romo; Adnan, Danilo, Domizzi, Edenilson, Felipe, Heurtaux, Insua, Pasquale, Piris, Wague; Badu, Fernandes, Iturra, Kone, Marquinho, Merkel; Aguirre, Di Natale, Perica, Thereau, Duvan Zapata
