Leonardo Bonucci slammed the crowd who jeered Juventus as “not real fans” after a draw with Chievo.

The Bianconeri are having their worst ever start to a Serie A season with one point from three rounds, needing a late penalty to hold Chievo 1-1 last night.

They were jeered off the field at half-time, during the game and at the final whistle, infuriating Bonucci to the degree he wrote a message on social media.

They were jeered off the field at half-time, during the game and at the final whistle, infuriating Bonucci to the degree he wrote a message on social media.

“It’s easy to come to the stadium and applaud when everything is going well,” wrote the defender on Twitter and Instagram.

“The real fan applauds during difficult moments to help the team. Juventus is all those who step on to the pitch, are on the bench, come to the stadium and sit at home watching on TV.

“The Juve motto is ‘to the end’ and to the end we must all be united. Believe in Juventus, in the team and in the project.

“We must always be positive. Now our minds go to the Champions League.”

The Bianconeri visit Manchester City on Tuesday evening in the opening game.

Captain Gigi Buffon was also irritated by the crowd's reaction in Turin last night and at half-time shouted to the fans: "We need YOU."
