Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure felt Juventus “were lucky” in their 2-1 Champions League win.

“It was a disappointing game. The Italian team played very well, defended very well and I think they’ve been lucky. I don’t think we played that bad,” he told BT Sport.

City had taken the lead through a controversial Giorgio Chiellini own goal, but Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata turned it all around.

“It can happen in football. We just have to be strong and try to bounce back in the Champions League.

“We just missed a lot today, we had a couple of chances and what we have to do is learn from Europe and try to do better next time.”
