Jack Bonaventura’s agent is more than open to a contract renewal. “He wants Milan for life.”
The midfielder scored his second goal in as many games during last night’s 3-2 victory at Udinese.
“This journey started a few years ago and has hit its peak at Milan,” representative Giocondo Martorelli told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Giacomo is a lad who can be counted on in any midfield role. His career is proof that in the long run hard work does pay off.
“He has two objectives: to do well for his club and be considered for Italy by a Coach like Antonio Conte. Why not?”
Bonaventura was a deadline day signing last season from Atalanta, having previously been linked with Inter, and has a contract until June 2019.
“Last year we bonded ourselves to the Milan project. If it were up to Giacomo, he’d be Milan for life. There are no problems, we are in sync and when the moment comes we’ll discuss a renewal.”
