The Old Lady are also believed to be working towards an extension, as Real Madrid currently have the right to re-sign Moata next summer.

However, the final decision will rest with the player and Tuttosport have reported that his agent has met with Bianconeri directors to discuss a new deal reportedly worth €3.5m per season until 2020.

Such a renewal would be a dramatic improvement on Morata’s current €2m per year contract in Turin.
