Pazzini took his place against Inter last night, but only lasted 22 minutes before he limped off following a clash with Felipe Melo.
The former Milan striker will have to wait for a few days for tests, as medical staff were concerned with the swelling, but it’s feared he’ll be out for three weeks.
Meanwhile, Ionita and Romulo both had surgery today and the Brazilian will spend the first part of rehabilitation in his homeland.
At least there was some good news for Verona, as Emil Hallfredsson returned to training and Jacopo Sala’s muscular problem won’t rule him out of this Sunday’s game with Lazio.
