Milan are said to be considering bringing in Andrea Ranocchia as a replacement for Philippe Mexes.
The latter is believed to be on the verge of sealing a loan move to Fiorentina in January, having seen a transfer blocked by Silvio Berlusconi in the summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are ready to rekindle interest in Inter’s Andrea Ranocchia as a replacement.
The centre-back is out-of-favour under Roberto Mancini, as evidenced by his preference for Gary Medel in the backline, despite the Chilean being a natural midfielder.
It’s thought the Diavolo would seek an initial loan deal for Ranocchia, but could face competition from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur who would be willing to take him outright.
