“This was a soulless team. You can’t hope to become great if you don’t do something to get there.
“We threw away three-quarters of the match and that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. We were missing some players, but still should’ve done a lot better.
“Does this result affect our ambitions? If we had been targeting second place then yes, but we are aiming elsewhere.
“This forces humility back on to everyone. We will analyse the game and the attitude we want from this team doesn’t come about by chance.”
