Inter and Stevan Jovetic are reportedly on difficult terms as the striker could play for Montenegro in spite of his injuries.

The 25-year-old reported some pain to his left calf after the Nerazzurri's last game against Sampdoria, and the medical opinion within the club was split.

The most pessimistic readings saw the pain as a consequence of a problem with the posture of the player's back.

The 25-year-old reported some pain to his left calf after the Nerazzurri's last game against Sampdoria, and the medical opinion within the club was split.

The most pessimistic readings saw the pain as a consequence of a problem with the posture of the player's back.

Jovetic reportedly ignored this reading and handled the problem as mere muscular trouble, flying off to Germany to speak with Doctor Muller-Wohlfhart, who previously operated his knee.

The player got some injections of painkillers, which should make him ready for the Montenegro games against Austria and Russia, but which do not handle the problem on the long term.

But Inter are of the opinion that this course of action was too rash, and that playing both international games could have severe consequences for the player's physical form.

The result is a rift between the player and the club, who will need him immediately when he returns to confront Juventus.
