France Coach Didier Deschamps believes Juventus star Paul Pogba must be less 'flashy' and become 'more concrete'.

The 'gold nugget of French football', as he was defined by UEFA President Michel Platini, was sought for €100m by some of Europe's top clubs this summer.

But Deschamps, speaking to the Press ahead of the friendly with Armenia, believes he still has room for improvement.

“Physically he's in a great condition,” he said. “Now it's about the position he should be assigned to on the pitch so he can give his best.

“Technically he's a player capable of exciting the supporters, but his plays must also be efficient, not just spectacular.

“Sometimes he's a bit flashy, even though that's his style of play and I don't want to twist it.

“He just has to become more concrete in what he does, and I'm not just talking about free kicks and the like, I mean his contribution during the game.

“Trying a stylish play is fine, but only if it can help the team.”
