Max Allegri hopes to have Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata against Inter and still believes in a Juventus Scudetto.

The Derby d’Italia is at San Siro next Sunday night and the Bianconeri received bad news during the break for international duty.

“Morata suffered a big bruise, the medical staff will monitor him day after day and we’ll see if he will be at our disposal for the next match in eight days,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.

“I have spoken to the lad, he’s very calm, even if it was a nasty knock.

“Pogba has this ankle problem, again it’s nothing worrying, but for three or four days at least he’ll have to train separately from the group and we’ll evaluate his condition as the week goes on.

“The injuries we’ve been dealing with are nothing in particular. I’m fairly confident they’ll both be available against Inter.

“To win the Scudetto we need consistent results, which is something we’ve struggled with so far this season in Serie A.

“Therefore we need to be consistent, because a victory away to Inter followed by two defeats renders the win pointless.

“Do we still believe in the Scudetto? That’s only natural, as we are only in October. In any case, we are giving the priority to the Champions League.”
