Inter could reportedly offer Alessio Cerci a way out of Milan, in exchange for Andrea Ranocchia.
The winger is on loan with the Rossoneri from Atletico Madrid, with Fernando Torres having moved the other way, but has not endeared himself to the fans or Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Nerazzurri Coach Roberto Mancini is known to be an admirer of Cerci, and Calciomercato reports that a loan exchange could take place, with Ranocchia moving the other way.
That scenario would require Milan to buy the player outright from Atleti, but with Torres keen to remain in La Liga, that should not be a problem.
Mancini is keen to bring in another winger to complement Ivan Perisic and allow him to play with a 4-3-3 system.
