Milan's lawyer claims in an official statement that the InFront scandal reports are violating the rights of the club's directors.

The Rossoneri are among the teams accused of having fixed account details and prices to favour Mediaset over Sky Sports in the most recent deal for broadcasting rights.

On from Genoa President Enrico Preziosi, who unleashed his fury at journalists, Milan lawyer Niccolo Ghedini, who represents President Silvio Berlusconi and joint-CEO Adriano Galliani, also accused Il Corriere della Sera.

“With a serious violation of the law, which will be persecuted in all courtrooms, today the Corriere della Sera published a recent telephone conversation between myself and Galliani whom I represent,” he wrote in a statement, published today on the club's official site.

“The publishing of the conversation of a defendant is forbidden by law.”

The extensive statement then goes on to disclaim any involvement by Milan in illicit operations, and to assure that legal action will be taken on this 'extremely serious episode that heavily damages the liberty and the constitutional rights of the defending parties'.
