Claudio Marchisio insists the 1-1 draw with Lyon was “a good result nonetheless,” but Juventus drop to second place in the Champions League group.

“It would’ve been decisive to bring home three points, but it is a good result nonetheless. It was important not to lose tonight against a strong opponent,” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium.

“A bit of fatigue can happen, as there are few options in attack, while Gonzalo (Higuain) and Mario (Mandzukic) had already given so much in recent games.

“We must try to bring these results home, because they are fundamental.”

Sevilla crushed Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 and automatically qualify for the Round of 16, opening up a two-point lead at the top of the group.
