Roma Coach Rudi Garcia is reportedly torn between a 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2 to face Bayer Leverkusen tonight.

The Giallorossi started with a three-man attack in the last Champions League tie with BATE Borisov, and saw his team go down 3-0, before switching to a 4-4-2 and pulling back two goals.

The Frenchman was asked about the issue in the pre-match Press conference yesterday, and pointed out that a trident was effective against Empoli.

Gazzetta dello Sport expects Garcia to stick with the 4-3-3, with Mohamed Salah and Alessandro Florenzi flanking Gervinho up-front.

However, Corriere dello Sport and Sky expect a 4-4-2 diamond formation, with Daniele De Rossi as the midfield anchor, and Miralem Pjanic behind the strikers.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that Edin Dzeko could play up-front, after recovering from injury, with Salah or Gervinho alongside, but Sky doesn’t expect the Bosnian to start.

That would see Salah and Gervinho as an unorthodox front-two, with both more accustomed to playing as wide-men.
