Cesare Maldini defends Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, insisting he doesn’t have “quality” available to him.
The Rossoneri lost to Inter in the Trofeo Berlusconi yesterday, piling further pressure on the former Sampdoria boss after a poor run of results.
“Mihajlovic can be the right man,” Maldini insisted in an interview with SportItalia.
“He’s a good person and a hard-working Coach, but the way I see it he doesn’t have the raw materials to do much.
“Milan have a problem, not in terms of style, but in quality.”
Maldini played over 400 times for the Rossoneri, later going on to Coach the team. His son Paolo holds the record for appearances with the Diavolo, with 902.
