Stefano Mauri believes Lazio “can go far” in the Europa League with the attitude that saw them beat Rosenborg when down to 10.

“It was an ‘ugly’ victory considering we were down to 10 men for practically the entire game, but we remained solid as a team and took our chances on the counter,” Mauri told Sky Sport Italia.

“Antonio Candreva and Felipe Anderson had excellent performances this evening, as playing with a man down is never easy.
“They gave a big hand to the defence and we already know their quality in attack. If we play like this, we can go far.”
