The Granata were thumped at the Stadio Olimpico by Senad Lulic and a Felipe Anderson double.

“It seems an exaggerated result considering the performances,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We went into the break 1-0 down after we got distracted on a cross, but the second goal is one we absolutely cannot concede. It was five against one and in one moment we destroyed all that good work.

“That error affected us. It might seem strange to say this after a 3-0 defeat, but we played well tonight.

“We have respect for Lazio, but we created several great chances and I am absolutely angry about the result.

“It’s even more of a shame because if we’d played like this against Carpi, we’d have won hands down.”
