“We'll have to be skilled and exploit that to our advantage. Our mindset is going to be crucial. We must have the right impact on the match from the very outset.
“You can always use the word 'relaxed'. We must be relaxed inasmuch as we know what we want, what we can and must do. This, and not a decline in drive or effort, is the right type of relaxation.
“I always expect great effort from my lads, that's the only thing that lets us talk of relaxation. Bologna must have confidence in itself, and not be conditioned by external factors and events.
“In football, people often look for tactical solutions, but I think a team's bedrock certainty comes primarily from its psychological condition. I had a lot of experiences confirming that and now I have a duty to pass that on to my players. As for me, there's very little I can determine.
“The three remaining months will be fundamental for our future. For me, they'll be even more intense than the time I've spent here so far.”
President Maurizio Zamparini recently praised Donadoni and said he was trying to sign him for Palermo.
“That's flattering, but I see myself on the bench with Bologna and I'm happy where I am.”
