“I'm starting again where I left off, from the region of Emilia [Romagna],” he said in his official presentation. “It's a serious, hard-working land.
“We'll have to conquer our points one at a time, with all the energy we can. The common objective is to stay in Serie A.
“I want to live this team on my own skin.
“I have players who are good, who have quality. From these young footballers it's possible to produce something important.
“I want to reach this objective to give some satisfaction to those who believed in me.
“I find a team that is self-aware, conscious of what it's worth and driven to come back.
“The club's plan is to return to important levels. I want to contribute to this path.
“We'll have to conquer every single point fighting tooth and nail, with anger.
