Coach Maurizio Sarri said Insigne should “apologise to his teammates for the lack of respect.”

Now it’s reported Sarri has opted to punish Insigne further by benching him for Sunday’s Serie A visit to Genoa.
Dries Mertens will instead start in the 4-3-3 system with Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain.
Jorginho could potentially be rested in favour of Mirko Valdifiori, while Cristian Maggio returns in place of Elseid Hysaj.
