“We knew the difficulties that we were going to face here, as even the top teams struggled at the Stadio Franchi. We held out at the start, allowing only the kind of possession Fiorentina usually get.
“The first goal was fortuitous, the second from a fine move, but I am angry at the third and fourth goals that finished the match. I also feel we deserved a penalty when it was 0-0.
“Having seen them play, I’d say Fiorentina are the form team of the League right now. If they maintain this intensity and quality, they can fight for the Scudetto.”
Serie A new boys Frosinone have only one point on their travels, yet won three on the bounce at home.
“On home turf we have another level of intensity, but that was the case in Lega Pro and Serie B too. Apart from this game and with Atalanta, we didn’t deserve defeat in the other away matches.”
