Edin Dzeko got his first goal since August 30 and also provided a fine assist for Mohamed Salah.
“He knows we expect goals, but I also expect the great pass he gave for Salah’s opener. These are the moves that define the quality of a player. He is an exemplary professional and played at a very high level tonight.”
Roma go into the Derby della Capitale against city rivals Lazio on Sunday.
