Fiorentina’s Marcos Alonso has reportedly agreed a new five-year deal with Paulo Sousa’s side.

The 24-year-old has been in great form for the Artemio Franchi outfit so far this season, but they risk losing him for free with his current deal expiring next summer.

However, Sky have reported that the club have reached an agreement with the Spaniard for a new five-year contract.

Juventus were rumoured to be interested in the midfielder but Sousa is believed to regard him as a fundamental part of the squad.
