Inter's Roberto Mancini shows great respect for Torino Coach Giampiero Ventura: 'He's really very good, he ought to coach in a big team'.

The Nerazzurri visit Torino tomorrow at 11:30 a.m., but the 50-year-old Coach is still not completely certain as to the best way to field his team.

“All of my decisions are quite difficult, when you change things it takes time for a new order to settle down,” he said. “Once we find the ideal formation, that's going to be a huge step forward in our campaign.

“[Torino Coach Giampiero] Ventura is very good. As always, it's not going to be an easy match.

“We'll have to fight for every ball. We'll have to be very aggressive, they have some really quick players.

“Ventura and I are different primarily in terms of age,” he joked. “But we both grew up in Sampdoria and he's really good. He always does well with Torino in spite of the players being sold.

“Maybe he'll get a chance in a great club, like [Napoli's Maurizio] Sarri did. Torino are still a great club, they're doing some brilliant work.

“As for [Milan Coach Sinisa] Mihajlovic's statement that the teams ahead of them have been lucky, I don't know what to say. You need everything over the course of a season, including luck. But that's true for everyone.”

Mancini was then asked whether he'd sell Mauro Icardi for €45m.

“That's not my job, and right now it's only hot air. I won't answer, it's not doable.

“The recoveries of Yuto Nagatomo and Danilo D'Ambrosio? The merit goes to them. They are two exemplary professionals and they always worked hard, even when they weren't playing.

“This is what allowed them to give an answer on the pitch. When you work with players like this, the job of the Coach becomes easier.”
