“My first derbies as a player were deep down similar to the first I experienced as a fan: the city stops and flings you into a turbine of emotions,” wrote De Rossi on Facebook.
“Keeping them under control is not easy. On the field you need to maintain the intensity and concentration, but I will admit the passion from the crowd can never leave you indifferent.”
