The Egypt international was stretchered off during today’s 2-0 victory over arch rivals Lazio.

His ankle was badly sprained by a Senad Lulic challenge and Coach Rudi Garcia told reporters “it’ll be a miracle if he hasn’t fractured it.”

According to several sources who spoke to Salah after he left the Mater Dei clinic on Sunday evening, the X-Rays did rule out fractures.

He will undergo more tests tomorrow to check for ligament damage and diagnose the extent of the sprain.
