Inter and Roma are in a race for Red Star Belgrade's Marko Grujic, who also enjoys the interest of clubs outside of Serie A.

The 19-year-old midfielder showcased his skills against Italy on Friday, and again yesterday evening in the Slovenia-Serbia U21 game.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio and Dejan Stankovic were present at the game so they could scout the player.

Their plan of bringing the player to Inter next summer clashes with the identical aim of Roma's sporting director Walter Sabatini.
