“We want to be top of the table for a long time and what others think should not interest us,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“We believe in our work and do not want to set limits. We want to encourage more fans to travel with us to see the games.

“We know that the breaks for international duty can complicate things, but we want to resume where we left off with the same hunger for good football and victory.”
Several of the Viola players have said in recent weeks they increasingly believe in Scudetto chances.
“Results and consistency allow you to work and play better, so obviously the mental strength of the squad increases too. It is only normal that the players believe more in their ability to achieve great results.”
Empoli have also impressed with their style of football, even after Maurizio Sarri left to take over at Napoli.
“I always said any team can cause us problems because we are not unbeatable,” continued Sousa.
“We must always be concentrated in every game and keep balanced. I want attacking football and am happy to take on other Coaches who see the sport the same way, where quality is put at the forefront. It will be a very beautiful game to watch.
“Our strategy has not changed. Empoli are fairly similar to us in terms of style, even if the results and objectives are different. We need great intensity for this derby and have to be concentrated from the start, because we cannot afford to do otherwise.”
