Belgian police have now decided to play Club Brugge-Napoli behind closed doors due to a heightened security risk.

The Europa League game will kick off on Thursday at 20.05 GMT.

Initially over 3,000 Napoli fans were set to travel, but this afternoon it was announced visiting supporters would not be allowed to make the trip.

Both clubs have now confirmed the police took further action and ordered the match played behind closed doors.

Much of Belgium is on lockdown after the Paris attacks, as many of the terrorists were from Belgium and one of them is still on the run.

Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri has left behind numerous big names from his travelling party.

Gonzalo Higuain, Raul Albiol, Jorginho, Pepe Reina and injured Manolo Gabbiadini and Dries Mertens won’t make the trip.

Napoli have already qualified for the next stage with a 100 per cent record.
