Mino Raiola says a return to Milan for Zlatan Ibrahimovic is “difficult” but “hope is the last to die”.
The Swedish striker was heavily-linked with a Rossoneri reunion this summer, but ultimately decided to stay with Paris Saint-Germain.
With his contract at Parc Des Princes expiring at the end of the season, could it become a reality in 2016?
“Last summer a return to Milan was very difficult,” Raiola, the player's agent, explained to Premium Sport.
“First and foremost because there was an agreement with PSG and Zlatan wanted to respect it. Now it’s expiring, let’s see what happens.
“A return to Italy is difficult because of the period Italian football is going through. Let’s be realistic, there aren’t many teams who can afford a top player like him.
“Wanting affection is enough, but these are decisions for the player, if one day he decides to play for free it’ll be his decision.
“America [MLS] isn’t the only option, but it’s obvious that a player of his ability is the master of his own destiny.
“Can Milan fans hope? Hope is the last to die…”
