Milan reportedly intend to sign Cesena starlet Stefano Sensi in January before loaning him out to Genoa next season.
The 20-year-old midfielder has attracted plenty of attention from Serie A clubs including the Rossoneri, Inter, Juventus, Napoli and Roma this season.
However, Tuttosport write today that the San Siro giants have joined together with the Grifone to form a plan for capturing the youngster.
The newspaper believes Milan have the advantage as they have tracked Sensi since last summer and because vice-President Adriano Galliani is close with the player’s agent Giuseppe Riso.
Rossoneri and Genoa scouts were both present at Cesena-Pescara on Friday evening and are believed to have formulated a strategy together.
The report says that Milan intend to offer Cesena €7-8m for the midfielder in January before letting him finish the season with the Serie B side.
The idea would then reportedly be to loan Sensi out to Genoa for the 2016-17 season so that he can get regular Serie A game time and gain the experience needed to challenge for a spot in the Rossoneri midfield.
