Crotone Coach Ivan Juric discusses the Coppa Italia tie with Milan - “we mustn’t treat this as a day trip”.
The Serie B side face the Rossoneri at San Siro tomorrow, and while the former midfielder acknowledges how big the match is for the club, it own’t be treated as a party.
“For the club and the city of Crotone it’s a great joy to be here,” Juric told reporters in his pre-match Press conference.
“They deserve this for the great sacrifices made over the years.
“I’m glad there will be a lot of fans, and all this excitement, but we mustn't treat this match like a day-trip or go to Milan to ask for our opponents’ shirts as if we are children.
“We’re footballers and we have to face this match with great concentration. I want to see the team play as they can, to try and impose our game despite the evident gulf between us and Milan, both physically and technically.
“We’re going to San Siro to do well, without closing-up in defence.”
