Agent: ‘Lopez won’t move in January’

Diego Lopez’s agent insists the Milan goalkeeper won’t move in January, despite talk of a Liverpool transfer.

It was reported earlier today that the Reds are interested in the Spanish ‘keeper, and could offer Mario Balotelli to the Rossoneri to lower the cost.

However, with the former Real Madrid man recovering from patellar tendonitis, his agent insists he won’t move in the winter transfer window.

“Will Diego Lopez leave Milan?” Manuel Garcia Quilon considered, speaking to Calciomeracto.

“I don’t think so. In January he won’t move, and I don’t understand why there’s all this talk of his imminent goodbye.”

Lopez has been replaced in the Diavolo first-team by 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma, leading to suggestions he could leave to win a starting shirt elsewhere.
