Inter are Scudetto favourites ‘thanks to Roberto Mancini’ and Milan ‘don’t have much quality’ says Fabio Capello.
The Coach recently terminated his contract with Russia and discussed the season so far as speculation links him to the Roma job.
“The level of the championship? It has improved in general, with teams that have strengthened,” he told Radio Anch’io lo Sport.
“Inter are in the lead and I consider them favourites thanks to Mancini.
“Milan? They’re an unsure team and are trying to find their way but still haven’t managed to. They don’t have a lot of quality and at times lacks personality during matches.
“Napoli are a great club, but I would be careful about Fiorentina, who I like and who have some real talents.
“However, the recent Juventus will make others scared and they must pay attention to the Bianconeri.
“The seesaw at the summit? It’s because they’re not used to being on top, which makes opponents give 110 per cent of their possibilities and you can never give less than 95 per cent.
“Mancini’s Inter like my Milan? He found two very valuable centre-backs, but compared to my Milan they create less chances.
“They are more aggressive. You can go far for the Scudetto by having defensive solidity.
“Are Italian Coaches better than foreign Coaches? We try to impose our philosophy both on and off the pitch, something that foreign coaches don’t do.”
